I'm finally ready to talk more about my new game, ETA: Unknown.
ETA: Unknown is a cockpit-driven survival horror game that plunges you into the frozen desolation of Antarctica. When contact with multiple research sites suddenly vanishes without warning or external cause, you're sent in alone to investigate.
I feel like its time I start showing this project off to more people. While many visuals are still placeholder (especially the PSX-style graphics), I'm genuinely happy with how the project is shaping up. The tactile, hands-on mouse controls are proving to be intuitive and easy enough for people to pick up, the music and atmosphere are really starting to click, and there's a lot of original ideas that are met with positive reactions.
There's a long road up ahead, but the core systems are nearing completion, which means I'll be moving on to the actual juice itself: visual polish, content production and story implementation.
I don't want to reveal a lot in this post as I want to leave more interesting things for the video devlog coming soon. Meanwhile, make sure to follow me on social media. I'll be posting more frequent updates on Twitter, releasing devlogs, teasers and trailers on my YouTube channel, and occasionally posting about some of the technical aspects of the game on this blog page.
That's all I wanted to share in this post. See you soon!
